Injuries were a big part of the Cardinals 2010 season. Losing Brad Penny, Kyle Lohse and David Freese eventually caught up with the Cardinals late in the season. While devastating to the current Redbirds, it was nothing like what the 1987 Cardinals faced. But every time one of those Cardinals went down, there was another one to take their place.
