The 1982 Milwaukee Brewers were an amazing bunch of characters that simply hit the cover off the baseball. They would win their division in 1981 season and came within a few outs of winning the 1982 World Series. Abner Doubleday couldn’t have chosen a better team for the Cardinals to face in the 1982 World Series.
