There is no doubt about the task that lies ahead for the Cardinals in starting their playoff push with the Pittsburgh Pirates. But Cardinals are primed to leave nothing off the table in taking down their most persistent foe.
With the playoffs coming up, and some great lefties on the horizon like Francisco Liriano and Clayton Kershaw, I want to study how successful The Cardinals really are against lefties.
Regardless of what has happened in the past, the Pirates this year are a team playing over their heads. Players who have struggled in the past don’t all just suddenly become good, do they?
