The Kansas City Royals announced today that the club has acquired minor league left-handed pitcher Luis Santos and right-hander Luis Rico from the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for right-handed pitcher Vin Mazzaro and first baseman Clint Robinson. Santos and Rico have been assigned to the Surprise Royals.
