i70baseball is an online home for all things Cardinals and Royals. The site brings daily content on both clubs from a myriad of voices that we hope will entertain, inform, challenge and interest you, our readers.

i70baseball was launched in July of 2010 as an affiliate of BaseballDigest.com with the idea of providing a more in-depth coverage of the two teams to our readers and still being able to take the stories of national interest to the big stage.  Since then, despite enjoying our relationship with the parent company, i70 has broken out on it’s own and become one of the most popular sites for Cardinals and Royals coverage on the web today.

In addition to the website that you are browsing right now, i70baseball offers a one hour internet radio broadcast every Monday night at 9 p.m. CST where fans can listen in, call in, and chat with a staff member of i70baseball in our chat room. This broadcast is hosted every week on Blog Talk Radio and can be found by clicking here or by clicking on the Podcast tab above.

I am considered by most to be a baseball historian. I watch documentaries, movies, tv shows, read books, and spend countless hours digging for any information about the history of the game. I have been a Cardinal fan since 1985 when my family moved to Missouri.I was a Contributing Writer for BaseballDigest.com upon launch in 2009. In mid 2009, the Content Editor for Cardinals coverage left the project and I assumed that role. During the spring of 2010, BaseballDigest.com began filling roles within the organization and I assumed the role of Assignment Editor over the entire staff. I left Baseball Digest Online when the new ownership took over and can now be found freelancing at various sites, including Yahoo Sports Contributor Network, around the internet. Angela is a life long Cardinal fan that grew up on the wrong side of the state.One of the founders of the popular Diamond Diaries website, Angela joined I-70 upon launch of the website and has served as a staff writer for Cardinals Coverage since then. Her views on historical baseball, current events, and the game itself lend themselves to a unique perspective that our fans enjoy.One of the most dedicated people on the I-70 staff, Angela accepted a partnership in the site as the Executive Editor.
