On February 16, 2012, major league baseball lost an amazing human being in Gary Carter.  The Hall Of Fame catcher lost his battle with brain tumors and left our world to go play baseball in that big field in the sky.

Almost exactly one year ago, on February 18, 2011, Ivie League Productions presented an episode of “The Kult Of Mets Personalities”.  A podcast featuring the personalities from, their guest that night was none other than “The Kid”, Gary Carter.

You can listen to that episode here.

  1. Gonna miss the Kid. The ideal big leaguer, easy to understand why so many people love baseball so much.
