Monday Morning Reading
If you have not noticed, it is a little slow out there.
With the Winter Meetings right around the corner, rumors and transactions will be flowing soon. But for now, mum is the word for the I-70 Baseball Teams.
One of the reasons this site was started was because of the high level of interest I have in the two franchises. As such, I keep up with multiple websites that cover the teams. With little going on, there has been some commentary from our friends out there on the web. Enjoy some assigned reading while we regroup from the Turkey induced hibernation and get some ideas together for the rest of the week.
You know we love historical content here on I-70 Baseball, our friends over at RetroSimba.com take a look at Tom Underwood’s time in St. Louis as word spread of his recent passing.
The guys over at Royals Authority seem to think that the calm over our team is a good thing right now, saying No News Is Good News….For Now.
The one rumor surfacing currently in Cardinal Nation is centered around former Astro Lance Berkman. The Godfather of the United Cardinal Bloggers, Daniel Shoptaw breaks it down while they question the possibility on Cardinals GM.
Josh over at Royalscentricity.com brings his voice to the web on Mondays throughout the offseason. This week, he checks in on Zack Greinke.
Clint over at 14 for 77 gives us a breakdown of the Omaha Royals being renamed the Omaha Storm Chasers.
Finally, drop by 610 Sports Radio and find out the quick details behind Bryan Bullington and his new team, Hiroshima Toyo Carp.
Hopefully those will get you up to speed. Don’t forget to check back here on I-70 for all of the commentary, historical analysis, and statistical breakdown. We will back at it tomorrow.
